Dyson DC25 Animal Ball - Showing Options

User 1: I give this vacuum a five star rating. It’s simply what I have always dream of owning. Coming from someone who has actually owned all the top vacuums out there at one point or the other, this should be taken seriously. I have a dog and cat so there will always be issues with shedding hair in my house. This means that I needed a vacuum that could handle those very well. In addition to being able to suck animal hair up instead of blowing it around, I also wanted something that was light and easy to handle.

This unit met all my expectations. It has very good suction. It is very easy to assemble and NO tools were needed. You don’t have to bother about moving it around or adjusting heights. Even without using the wand/handle attachment, I still was able to clean up places that would prove very difficult with other vacuums. Now, add the wand/handle and you get even more flexibility.

I must add, though, that unless you have used one of these Dysons, you will need some time to get used to the wand/handle attachment. I am so excited with this purchase that I have even stepped out of my comfort zone to give a review (Something I have never done before just to show you how happy I am with my purchase).

User 2: I live in an apartment, own a dog and can be called a clean freak. If any vacuum gets a five star rating from me then it really deserves it. I have owned cheaper vacuums in the past and, to tell the truth, they were very disappointing. The major problem I had with them was that they couldn’t simply deal with pet hair no matter how I tried.

I had been wary of spending so much on something like a vacuum even though I had friends who owned a Dyson. Now that I’ve bought one, I am glad I did since I no longer have to worry about pet hair ever again. Here are my observations…

*Its small profile makes it easier to vacuum without the need to move things around a lot. If you have a small space, you’ll find this a lot more functional than the DC17 (Which I actually considered buying).

*If you have a serious expectation from a vacuum when it comes to cleaning your carpet, this wouldn’t disappoint.

*It takes care of pet hair so well that it will NO longer be a problem for you.

*The bin is quite small when compared to the other models which means you’d have to empty a few times if you really have to clean up a very dirty apartment.

Yes, the smaller bin might be an issue but I am very happy with this purchase and am ready to empty the bin as many times as I need to. The good thing here is that it does all it has been advertised as capable of — Which is very important to me. If you are contemplating if this is really worth the investment, if you won pets and are really bothered about pet hair, if you want to have a permanent solution to dust, this vacuum will do it for you.

However, if having a big bin is more important to you than any other thing, this is NOT for you. For me, I know what I want in a vacuum and the DC25 does it.
