If your Bissell vacuum cleaner brush roller isn’t spinning, the problem could be that it is bad. To solve the problem, you will need to clean the brush roller. Follow the steps below to replace a Bissell vacuum brush roller . . .

Step 1. Turn your vacuum cleaner off and unplug it from the power outlet before you begin the cleaning process.

Step 2. Place the vacuum cleaner on a flat surface then turn it upside down.

Step 3. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to unscrew the nine screws at the bottom of the vacuum cleaner that hold the brush cover in place.

Step 4. Remove the brush cover and set it aside.

Step 5. Pull the brush out of its place then slide it out of the belt.

Step 6. Put a new brush in the place of the old one.

Step 7. Slide the new brush roll through the vacuum belt.

Step 8. Put the brush cover back back on then put the nine screws back in their places. Check if your vacuum cleaner works properly now.

Step 9. Put the nine screws back in the brush cover. You can start using your vacuum cleaner again.
