Step 1. Turn your vacuum off then unplug the power cord from the outlet.
Step 2. Take out the vacuum canister then set it aside.
Step 3. Firmly press the filter cover then take it out.
Step 4. Take out the small black filter.
Step 5. Gently tap the plastic filter on the side of a dustbin or sink to get rid of any loose dirt then brush the foam filter to get rid of dust.
Step 6. Reassemble the filter then keep it back in its place at the bottom of the vacuum.
Step 7. Put the filter cover back on.
Step 8. Put the vacuum canister back in its place then you can start using the vacuum.
