Step 18. Take the post motor filter out of the vacuum cleaner then tap it on the side of a trash can or sink to get rid of loose dirt. You can not wash the post motor filter with water or detergent.
Step 19. Carefully wipe the post motor filter with a dry piece of cloth or tissue or a soft brush to get rid of more stubborn dirt.
Step 20. When the post motor filter is completely clean, reconnect it to the bottom of the vacuum canister and use the little switch to lock it in place again.
Step 21. Turn your Black and Decker stick vacuum cleaner back on then check if it is working like it is supposed to.
Note: Make sure you do not use your Black and Decker stick vacuum cleaner without its pre filter or post motor filter. Using your vacuum cleaner without its filters can be very dangerous.
