Moosoo Robot Vacuum Cleaner Side Brush Stuck – Why and How To Fix
If the side brush of your Moosoo robot vacuum cleaner is stuck, the problem could be that the side brush motor is bad. To solve the problem, you will need to replace the side brush motor. Follow the steps below to replace the side brush motor of your Moosoo robot vacuum cleaner . .
Step 1. Turn your machine off and unplug it from the power outlet before you start. Replacing any part of your Moosoo robot vacuum cleaner when the machine is still powered on or plugged into your power outlet can cause electrocution.
Step 2. Flip the vacuum cleaner over.
Step 3. Disconnect the side brush, the rolling guard, and the brush roller from the vacuum cleaner and set them aside.
Step 4. Get a screwdriver and use it to remove the two screws holding the brush bearings in place. Keep the screws in a safe place.
Note: There will be many different screws to remove so make sure you do not mix them up.
Step 5. Use the screwdriver to take out the screws under the bumper. There will be eight screws to remove. Keep the screws in a safe place.
Step 6. Under the bumper, you will see the signal bracket. Take the signal bracket out and set it aside.
Step 7. Take the bumper out of the vacuum cleaner and set it aside.
Step 8. Take out the eight screws directly at the bottom of the vacuum cleaner and keep them in a safe place.
Step 9. Carefully separate the top part of the vacuum cleaner from the bottom part.
Step 10. Carefully disconnect the wires connecting the top part of the vacuum cleaner to the bottom part. Set the top part of the vacuum cleaner aside.
Step 11. Get the screwdriver and use it to remove the three big screws holding the motherboard in place. Keep the screws in a safe place.
Step 12. Remove the screws holding the side brush motors in place. Keep the screws in place.
Step 13. Take the side brush motors out of the vacuum cleaner and set them aside.
Step 14. Put new Moosoo robot vacuum cleaner side brush motors in the place of the old ones.
Step 15. Use the screws that you removed from the old side brush motors to hold the new ones in place.
Step 16.Reconnect the three big screws that you removed from the motherboard earlier.
Step 17. Reconnect the wires that you disconnected from the top cover of the vacuum cleaner earlier.
Step 18. Reconnect the screws that were under the brush bearings.
Step 19. Reconnect the eight screws that you removed from the bottom of the vacuum cleaner.
Step 20. Reconnect the signal bracket and the bumper to the vacuum cleaner.
Step 21. Turn your Moosoo robot vacuum cleaner back on and check if the side brush is working like it is supposed to now.

If the brush roller of your Moosoo cordless vacuum cleaner is dirty, it won’t be able to spin properly. To solve the problem, you will need to clean the brush roller. Follow the steps below to clean the brush roller of your Moosoo cordless vacuum cleaner . . .
Step 1. Before you begin the cleaning process, make sure your vacuum cleaner is turned off and unplugged from the power outlet. Cleaning any part of your Moosoo cordless vacuum cleaner when the machine is turned on or plugged into the power outlet can cause electrocution.
Step 2. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum cleaner. Set the rest of the vacuum cleaner aside.
Step 3. Disconnect the hose from the brush head attachment. Set the vacuum hose aside.
Step 4. Push the little tab at the bottom of the brush head attachment to disconnect the brush roller from the rest of the attachment.
Step 5. Take the brush roller out of the brush head attachment. Set the rest of the brush head attachment aside.
Step 6. Get a pair of scissors and use it to cut off any hair or thread that may be stuck on the brush roller. Take the hair or thread out of the brush roller and throw it away.
