The vacuum canister is too full
If the canister of your Bosch vacuum cleaner is too full, you will see a flashing light on the machine. To solve the problem, simply empty the canister and the blinking light should disappear.
The filters are dirty
If you emptied the vacuum canister and you still see the blinking light, then the problem might be from the filters. To solve the problem you will need to wash the filters. Follow the steps below to wash a Bosch vacuum cleaner filters . . .
Step 1. Turn your vacuum cleaner off and unplug it from your power outlet before you begin the cleaning process.
Step 2. Disconnect the canister from the vacuum cleaner.
Step 3. Disconnect the filters from the vacuum canister.
Step 4. Separate the filters.
Step 5. Tap the filters on the side of a trash or sink to get rid of loose dirt.
Step 6. Wash the filters under running water to get rid of stubborn dirt.
Step 7. Leave the filters to dry for about twenty four hours until you are sure that they are completely dry.
Step 8. When the filters are dry, reattach them and reconnect them to the vacuum canister. Make sure the filters are completely dry before reconnecting them to the vacuum cleaner because using a wet filter in your vacuum cleaner can cause it to malfunction.
Step 9. Reconnect the canister to the vacuum cleaner. You can use the vacuum again.
To ensure that you do not encounter the blinking light in the first place, wash the filters frequently and make sure you empty the canister after each use.
Also make sure you do not try using the vacuum cleaner without the filters because using your Bosch vacuum cleaner without the filters can cause it to function abnormally.
